Meet Katie

You are the expert on your needs and strengths.

I am committed to working toward a more just and liberated world.

Some of my most important values are:

Love, Justice, Compassion and Connection.

I believe in the power of radical love to overcome pain and suffering and transform our hearts and our world.  I have been doing therapy with children, teens, and adults for over 15 years.  My approach is warm, accepting, collaborative and empowering.  I want to help you find the path to healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

I am committed to a continued path of learning and unlearning my own biases and internalized oppressions. I want you to feel comfortable discussing topics of race, ethnicity, disability, neurodivergence, gender, sexuality, religion, and spirituality and their meanings in your life.  I strive to be unconditionally respectful and affirming and continually work toward accessibility in my practice.

I consider myself a native San Diegan and I love the beach, reading, napping,  dancing, hiking, eating spicy food, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my husband and kids. I have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Redlands and my Master's of Social Work degree from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work.
